Manifesto

We don't guess.

Some mail servers accept every address. Some slow down anyone who asks. Some won't say at all. Every email verifier runs into them, and every verifier decides what to do next.

The easy way out is a guess: a score, a percentage, a catch-all called valid. It looks like an answer. It isn't one, and it doesn't stay hidden. It comes back on the day you send, as a bounce, on your domain.

A guess gets paid for at send time.

So Verimail asks each address's mail server whether the mailbox exists, and tells you what it said. Every answer comes with its reason. When the server won't say, the answer is unknown, and unknown is never charged. You pay for answers, not attempts.

We don't score addresses. A score is a guess with a decimal point.

We don't do anything else. No warm-up, no enrichment, no lead lists. Since 2019 Verimail has verified email and nothing else, on its own infrastructure.

We aren't the cheapest, and we don't try to be. Our prices are fair, and they're on the pricing page.

And we aren't for everyone. If you need every catch-all address called valid, we're the wrong service. We'll tell you it's a catch-all.

We don't guess.
